Handmade Artist Forum has answers and....

As you know I love to make jewelry and many other handcrafts as well. When I first decided to bring my product on line I had so many questions. If there had only been a place where I could go find answers and seek expertise advice from like minded entrepreneurs. I found it! The Handmade Artist Forum is just that kind of place. They are all about Handmade. You can learn so much as I have posted before in this "What's your most tool as a handmade artist?"   The forum was created and is promoted by a very hardworking couple Kimberly and Andrew Kitchen. They are a wonderful team not sure how they do it all ,just thankful they do.I learn something new everyday when it comes to promoting and selling and much of it was acquired through the forum. So I would also like to say Thank you Kimberly and Andrew for looking out for handmade artisans everywhere.Thank you for giving a place to go get help when needed. The Handmade Artist Shops are easy to set up and manage and they have the best variety of unique handmade gifts so you can be sure you will be able to find something for everyone you are buying for.Now there are many ways to contribute to the forum as well ad I personally love the Blog Ring. Want to learn more read "Handmade Artist Blog Ring, come on Jump in!". There are many other ways also just check the forum and see where you fit in. Women Over Fourty 8)

This is what Andy Rooney thinks about women over 40: 60 Minutes Correspondent Andy Rooney (CBS) As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why: A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk, if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage! Andy Rooney is a really smart guy!

My Favorite Words Of Wisdom and Inspiration8)

You must live for another if you wish to live for yourself. ~ Seneca
POOR PEOPLE ?

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, 'How was the trip?'

'It was great, Dad.'

'Did you see how poor people live?' the father asked.

'Oh yeah,' said the son.

'So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?' asked the father.

The son answered:

'I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.'

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, 'Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.'

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!

Pass this on to friends and acquaintances and help them refresh their perspective and appreciation.

'Life is too short and friends are too few.'

I love this!

I love this!
What make's you smile?

Smile it makes you look younger ! ;)
