Work,Work, and More Work!
Yeah that about sums it up.Work, work and more work and I am thankful for it!I have a show next week in Johnson City. On October 8th and 9th I will be at the Pig Roast .I love this event it's a great motorcycle rally.I still have a few earrings I want to finish and of course the usual packing everything up for show.I think I may get one day off before then, so with a tiny miracle I just may be confidently ready.Time will tell.I always get so nervous before shows.I worry about everything, the weather is my main concern here because it is outside.Well anyways I have a treat for you in the morning, grab some coffee and come back for a visit you will love these babies.LOL Good Night!

Awe I got stung by the D--- Scorpion.LOL
All summer I have been finding scorpions in the house.Yes we sprayed and yes, If I had the light on I may have seen this particular one.But I didn't, and for the first time in thirty years or so of living in Texas I got stung by a scorpion. And ya know what?It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. In fact I am kind of laughing because I think My karate is paying off. LOL No Don't laugh I am serious.See in karate the art part is made up of formal exercises called Kata. And from practicing them the souls of my feet have become very tough especially the heals. So karate paid off for me by helping me to fend off that nasty Scorpion sting. And my fear of scorpions is gone.Wait what was that I just saw?I mean to say My fear of scorpions isn't as bad as it was.

Women Over Fourty 8)
This is what Andy Rooney thinks about women over 40:
60 Minutes Correspondent Andy Rooney (CBS)
As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:
A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think.
If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting.
Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it.
Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated.
Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40.
Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.
Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk, if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.
Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize.
For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!
Andy Rooney is a really smart guy!

My Favorite Words Of Wisdom and Inspiration8)
You must live for another if you wish to live for yourself. ~ Seneca
POOR PEOPLE ?
One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, 'How was the trip?'
'It was great, Dad.'
'Did you see how poor people live?' the father asked.
'Oh yeah,' said the son.
'So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?' asked the father.
The son answered:
'I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.'
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, 'Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.'
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.
Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!
Pass this on to friends and acquaintances and help them refresh their perspective and appreciation.
'Life is too short and friends are too few.'
