Getting Ready for Fall

Hello my friends,Almost Fall!I am sooo excited ,think it has something to do with the forty something days over 100 degree's.While I was waiting for cooler weather I was staying plenty busy.I have almost finished updating my store fronts.I gave my Etsy ,HAF shop and my ArtFire face lifts.lol I just finished working on my Zibbit.So do you like the new pictures?Each one has all unique items NO duplicate listings.As you can see I have been working on some great fall items to add also.What do you think of the Skulls?I made several eye lanyards also,would really love to hear what you think.Have a fantastic week my friends!

What's your most important Tool as a Handmade Artist?

Hello Friends.I am just curious,I would really like to no.What is your most important tool as a handmade Artist? Your Imagination? Your determination?Is it maybe pure desire to create something beautiful?I am sure you could gather a room full of various artists and everyone would share many of these and still have there own unique answer.I think that is what makes Art so Great!Since I started my online ventures I have learned so much,and continue you learn something new everyday.Everyone of these tools I listed have at one point or another been my most important tool.I have a tool I would like to share with you.I am still learning how to use it properly,LOL I am talking about the Handmade Artist Forum.A place where you can meet other Artist from all over the world,all walks of life.And they are realllly Great people.I have met a some great Friends.And You will too!It is a great tool and it works both ways,you can learn with it or teach.I hope you take the time to look around.Maybe even open your own HAF Shop.Can't wait to see ya around the forum!

Hello friends!This week I would like you to take a peek at my friend's shop. Gina of Dahlish knits has certainly been busy. As you can see already, she is an awesome knitter!Here is just a couple of my favorites from her shop. She lives with her husband and two children in North Dakota.I am sure they all demand a great deal of her time.Not sure how she finds the time to do the the other things she enjoys like yoga and playing the piano. Women Over Fourty 8)

This is what Andy Rooney thinks about women over 40: 60 Minutes Correspondent Andy Rooney (CBS) As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why: A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk, if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage! Andy Rooney is a really smart guy!

A Little about Me

Hello I'm Tammy, some people call me Tay, some call me Tam. I don't care what ya call me as long as it's something nice. I enjoy living in Texas where I was transplanted when I was nine from Ohio. My parents got divorced so this was starting over. I am rich with blessings. I have a wonderful supportive ,loving family. My husband Jesse and I have been best friends for over thirty five years now. We have two daughters, a son, and three grand-children. YES I AM BLESSED! I strive learning something new everyday. I design jewelry and I am very passionate about it. Everyone kept telling me to get a website, get online. Well here I am. I am giving it my best. I have developed a new passion for web developing and design as a result of my online endeavor's. I try to learn something new everyday! I have had so much fun exploring and making friends. I would love to share some of my experiences, and introduce you to some of the fantastic Artists I have met. I wish I could buy something from each and every one. Unfortunately my budget doesn't allow me that luxury at this time. So the best way I know to show support for my friends is to spread the word about how great they and their products are. I hope you will do the same. Support your friends, sisters, moms, aunts, grandmas, and you get the picture.... lol Buy Handmade 8) Treat yourself! (You Deserve it!)

The Biker

I saw you, hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line. But, you didn't see me, put an extra $10.00 in the collection plate last Sunday. I saw you, pull your child closer when we passed each other on the sidewalk. But, you didn't see me, playing Santa at the local mall. I saw you, change your mind about going into the restaurant. But, you didn't see me, attending a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane relief. I saw you, roll up your window and shake your head when I rode by. But, you didn't see me, riding behind you when you flicked your cigarette butt out the car window. I saw you, frown at me when I smiled at your children. But, you didn't see me, when I took time off from work to run toys to the homeless. I saw you, stare at my long hair. But, you didn't see me, and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of Love. I saw you, roll your eyes at our leather jackets and gloves. But, you didn't see me, and my brothers donate our old ones to those that had none. I saw you, look in fright at my tattoos. But, you didn't see me, cry as my children were born and have their name written over and in my heart. I saw you, change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere. But, you didn't see me, going home to be with my family. I saw you, complain about how loud and noisy our bikes can be. But, you didn't see me, when you were changing the CD and drifted into my lane. I saw you, yelling at your kids in the car. But, you didn't see me, pat my child's hands, knowing he was safe behind me. I saw you, reading the newspaper or map as you drove down the road. But, you didn't see me, squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take the next turn. I saw you, race down the road in the rain. But, you didn't see me, get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car to go on his date. I saw you, run the yellow light just to save a few minutes of time. But, you didn't see me, trying to turn right. I saw you, cut me off because you needed to be in the lane I was in. But, you didn't see me, leave the road. I saw you, waiting impatiently for my friends to pass. But, you didn't see me. I wasn't there. I saw you, go home to your family. But, you didn't see me. Because, I died that day you cut me off. I was just a biker. A person with friends and a family. But, you didn't see me. Re-post this around in hopes that people will understand the biker community. If you don't re-post this, It sucks to be you. I hope you never loose someone that rides. EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE US, RESPECT OUR RIGHTS TO RIDE WHAT WE CHOOSE AND TAKE A FEW EXTRA SECONDS TO BE SURE WE'RE NOT IN 'YOUR' WAY - LIVE TO RIDE . . . . RIDE TO LIVE.
