How many sales can I get doing that?

I am doing an experiment.I had put pearl earrings $5.00 free gift and free shipping posted at all three shops. Two weeks no sales, crazy.I just no when the customers see the quality they will come back.Any ways did some research.Decided to do something totally crazy out of desperation for first sale at my Zibbet.I changed those five dollar earrings to .10 plus shipping minus the free gift.Leaving me no worse off cost wise and On Etsy I got 19 sales Artfire 0 sales Zibbet 0 sales. Now I am not sure why it is not working at the other two shops.I am gonna continue this experiment until my birthday next week.I will let ya know how it's going. If you need some great earrings at an awesome price please check them out.First buyer on Zibbet will get something special for helping me out.If you know any techniques that might work let me no.I am always open to suggestions.

  1. I only had this posted 1 hour before another jewelry artist responded with not such kind words.Wow,I was asking for an opinion not trying to under sell anyone.Just trying to promote my shops.Online selling is very different from shows.I am trying my best!Don't get mad at me for that. There are enough customers to go around.LOL

  3. Owwww- i'm sorry somebody said not-nice-things to you. Tried telling all your friends and family about it? or sending out group bulk e-mails around holiday season to friends, friends of friends and all your blogger friends? or posting these offers right here, on your blogger account?

I like the idea of getting a product review done. Word-of-mouth is a lot better. Gift a few people some of your stuff and make sure they are close enough to brag about it for you!

    I sure hope this helps!

  6. While it's good to experiment to find what works best, my initial concern is that shoppers might see such pricing as a technical bug. Have you tried looking into SEO? While ArtFire and other venues do some of the SEO work for you, there are things you can do to drive more traffic to your studio and increase sales. We have a lovely guide on Improving your SEO on ArtFire here: http://www.artfire.com/modules.php?name=forums&op=view_topic&tid=1840

Women Over Fourty 8)

This is what Andy Rooney thinks about women over 40: 60 Minutes Correspondent Andy Rooney (CBS) As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why: A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk, if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage! Andy Rooney is a really smart guy!

My Favorite Words Of Wisdom and Inspiration8)

You must live for another if you wish to live for yourself. ~ Seneca
POOR PEOPLE ?

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, 'How was the trip?'

'It was great, Dad.'

'Did you see how poor people live?' the father asked.

'Oh yeah,' said the son.

'So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?' asked the father.

The son answered:

'I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.'

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, 'Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.'

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!

Pass this on to friends and acquaintances and help them refresh their perspective and appreciation.

'Life is too short and friends are too few.'
