It's Hard to be a shy salesperson!
I am almost ready for tomorrow.I am so nervous. It is hard to be a good salesperson when you are shy.I have been trying to overcome this problem for a while.I still get this sick feeling before each event. What if nobody comes? I try to think only positive thoughts.Well I have games to play, lots of refreshments and lots of jewelry, and my friend is coming to sell Mary Kay .We are gonna do our best to sell out.Say a prayer we need all the help we can get. Thanks! I have to go bake a couple of cakes now.I hope you have a great weekend!

Women Over Fourty 8)
This is what Andy Rooney thinks about women over 40:
60 Minutes Correspondent Andy Rooney (CBS)
As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:
A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think.
If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting.
Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it.
Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated.
Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40.
Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.
Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk, if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.
Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize.
For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!
Andy Rooney is a really smart guy!

You must live for another if you wish to live for yourself. ~ Seneca
That is so exciting!!! I think that once the butterflies leave your stomach, you'll have a lot of fun. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteI hope they leave soon!Thank you for the luck I will take it!lol
ReplyDeleteOnce it gets started time will just fly by! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI have not done a show in forever. I used to get nervous too. I am sure I will get nervous the when I get back in the ring. I know this sounds funny but I used to turn my radio up really loud and blare one of my favorite rock bands cd’s on the way to the shows. There is nothing like a little head banging to get you in the craft show mood. lol
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a fabulous show and sell out.
Good Luck, Heather
Thank you all for your sweet comments!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Hope you do awesome!
ReplyDeleteEveryone is going to come. Watch.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Tam, I thought I was the only one who got this nervous at shows.
ReplyDeleteI love being in my shop, creating new jewelry, but when it comes to selling it in person, I'm the worst. At my last show, a friend showed up and sat behind the table with me. She made a sale within minutes. When she left, I only made one other sale for the whole night! Sigh. It really doesn't help to be shy when you're trying to sell something, does it?
I hope your show went better than my last one did and that you were able to relax and have a good time ... your jewelry is really lovely, so I'm sure you sold a lot of it! ;)
